Thin Parting Tools

This tool from Sorby uses a 1-1/4" wide blade that is 1/16" thick. The blade is about 4-1/2" long and it is fitted with a 6" Ash handle. The blade has a short back bevel on the bottom to give the point more strength and to make sharpening easier.
