1/16" Fluted Parting Tool

The flute milled along the long bevel of this 1/16" parting tool produces two spurs that cut the wood fibers minimizing tearout. The short bevel is the one that is sharpened and helps orient the edge at a shearing angle enabling this parting tool to leave an extremely smooth finish while removing a minimum of material. Overall length is 18-1/2", with a handle length of 12".
