1/16'' Parting Tool

This thin Parting Tool is very useful when the turner wants to remove as little wood as possible, for example when making small boxes. The 1/16th inch parting tool is also great for parting off weed pots and bowls without wasting wood or interrupting the grain pattern of the wood. The blade measures just under 1/16th of an inch thick by 1-1/4" wide by 4" long and is fitted with a 4" long Rosewood Handle. The handle is secured to the blade with two 5/16" diameter brass pins. Overall length is 8".
