Firmager 1/16'' Parting Tool

Melvin Firmager is known for making turnings that have many thin parting cuts in green wood that warp durning drying to give a flower effect. He does this with the parting tool offered here. Like the Thin Parting Tool this tool has a 4" rosewood handle and a 1/16" thick by 1-1/4" wide high speed steel blade. However, the blade length on the Firmager Parting Tool is a 7" long with a special grind on the end. Overall length of 11".
