Skilton Sander

This sander, designed by Australian woodturner Tim Skilton, is powered by the rotation of the work piece. This sander features a 3" Hook & Loop holder set into a ball bearing for smooth long life. The head is tilted 12˚ for user comfort. The sanding pad is quickly removed by and replaced with no tools. Just pull it out and pop it back in again by hand. This makes it easy to change pad sizes. Also, it makes it possible to keep different grits of sandpaper on other holders. The handle is made of plastic and measures 5-1/2" by 1-1/4" in diameter. An optional 2" holder is available for use on smaller turnings.
