Cup Center Adaptor

Now you can have the best of both worlds for minimal cost. This new add-on for any 60 degree Cone Center converts it into a cup center in just seconds. It measures 5/8" in diameter and allows only 1/8" of the point to penetrate the wood. This is useful when friction driving a reversed bowl or turning spindle stock which could otherwise have a tendency to split. It is held in your hand against the tail center until contacting the wood.
