The Sweet 16 has a removable bed section that creates a gap to let you turn a bowl or platter up to 32". Moving the section to the end of the lathe increases spindle turning capacity by 14".  This gives the lathe a flexibility in the projects that can be turned. 
Each lathe comes with a 7 Year "Head to Tail" Warranty that even includes the bearings.
