This fixture allows you to safely mount the high speed steel cutting bit for sharpening with a grinder. Designed for Carter Hollow Roller® 1/4" HSS bit, but may work with other 1/4" size bits. The fixture also allows you to mount and grind the round HSS scraper bit, while keeping your fingers away from the grinding wheel and the hot metal of the HSS scraper bit. The large knob allows for rotation of the bit to help lessen the chance of flat spots during grinding.
