The G3 Chuck is a smaller sized chuck with single handed operation, making it perfect for smaller lathes. It is good for use on lathes with a swing from 10" to 16" in diameter. It is also quite useful for turning small items on larger lathes to give better access to the workpiece. The chuck in this bundle is direct threaded for 1" x 8 tpi. No insert is needed.
