This insert allows you to ‘adapt’ your Insert Type NOVA Chuck to a 1 1/4″X 8TPI RH UNS Thread Lathe.
It provides great benefit if you change your lathe as you only need to change your insert/adaptor to keep using the same chuck and accessories.
The inside of this adapter features a 1 1/4″X 8TPI RH UNS internal thread and the external thread matches the NOVA insert type chucks, making it easy to simply screw into the back of your NOVA Insert Type Chuck.
