SKU: 112614 Stronghold Jumbo Jaws

These jaws are used for reverse chucking bowls and plates so the bottom can be turned and finished. Eight rubber stops screw into a series of holes and hold the bowl tight against the face of these jaws. The rubber stops taper inward from top to bottom to help hold the work piece in place. A slot is also provided for holding non-round work pieces.

Usage

• Light finishing on the backs of bowls
• external chucking on platters and picture frames

Note: Wooden false jaws may be mounted and turned for those requiring the utmost in precision finishing or for extremely large or critical applications.
