This adaptor is used to center a partially turned bowl on a vacuum chuck so the bottom can be turned. It fits into a #2 Morse Taper tailstock and has threads to match the thread of the chuck or faceplate holding the work. This adaptor is designed for positioning only and is not to be used under power.
