This smaller version of the 3/4" Negative Rake Scraper tool is designed to be used with the bevel facing upward. The negative rake of the bevel means the tool will not have a tendency to catch or grab during use. It can leave a very smooth finish on the wood during final smoothing and shaping. This scraper is made of 1/4" thick M2 high speed steel that is 1/4" wide. The 1/4" Negative Rake Scraper comes handled with an overall length of 10". Great for everything from micro bowl work to turning wooden sections of musical instruments.
