These heavy duty scrapers are made from 1-1/2" wide by 3/8" thick M2 high speed steel.  They were designed by Peter Child for smoothing and refining bowls and other faceplate work. 

The heavy section of these tools helps to damp vibration. Comes fitted with 11-1/2" stained beech handle.
