David Ellsworth is an internationally known woodturner and highly respected teacher of the craft. In 1997 David worked with Crown Tools of Sheffield England to produce the first Ellsworth Signature Bowl Gouge. This deep fluted bowl gouge is made to his specifications and comes sharpened with his specialized side grind, offering exceptional versatility in bowl turning. Powerful roughing cuts to delicate shearing cuts, make this tool a favorite of many people for turning bowls.

The Signature Bowl Gouge is made of 5/8" dia..M2 high speed steel, hardened to 61-62 RC and has an 8" flute for long tool life. The blade extends 10" out of the 17" long European Beech Handle. The Signature Bowl Gouge comes with instructions from David Ellsworth.
