SKU: 101853 #1 Hunter Tapered Shoulder Tool

The Hunter Taper Tools were designed by professional woodturner and teacher Mark St. Leger to make ornaments and small vessels.

All the tools come unhandled

Using these three tools a wide variety of small hollow forms can be created.

• #1 Tapered Straight Tool: used for initial hollowing and inside bottom of vessels.
• #1 Tapered C Hook Tool: used to hollow out to the side wall of vessels, ornaments.
• #1 Tapered Shoulder Tool: used to reach the upper section of the ornament or vessel.

Each tool measures shank 3/8" diameter by 8" and uses a #1 Hunter Carbide Cutter. The end of the tools is tapered to allow for good access though small openings. The steel has a black oxide finish to protect it from corrosion. The tools come unhandled and include a Torx wrench.
